Once the glitter has settled, but while you're still on that wedding day high, I get to work quickly and efficiently. You'll wake up dying to see photographs, so sneak peaks will be posted almost immediately. Your full gallery of photos will be ready in about 4 to 8 weeks.
When I got married, anything that could go wrong, DID go wrong, but luckily, I had an AMAZING photographer who immediately calmed me down, took charge, and made the experience 10 times better than anything I could have hoped for. Now it's my turn to provide that same service to all of my couples.
Chances are, you're pretty new to weddings, while I've been to hundreds. You don't have to know exactly what you're doing because I'll be there to guide you, prompt you, and remind you along the way. I'll be there reminding you that we have plenty of time if you're feeling anxious, filling your glasses to celebrate post-ceremony, and making sure we choose a "grandma friendly" photo location so that your family photo session is easy and goes off without a hitch. I will probably cry a bit at your Dad's speech too if we're being honest here.

Wow oh wow are we glad that we found Kristy! She captured every beautiful moment of our wedding day, from getting ready in the morning to dancing the night away. We also contracted her mobile photo booth services for our reception (we used the photo strips as our wedding favours), and there was a lineup for the photo booth all night long! She was incredibly knowledgeable, incredibly professional, incredibly responsive, and most importantly, incredibly fun to work with. My husband and I tend to be a little on the awkward side when it comes to having photos taken, but Kristy immediately put us at ease and we soon forgot the camera was even there! She captured our love beautifully (and was able to get a little bit of our goofy side in, too!), and gave us the wonderful gift of beautiful memories. Kristy did our wedding and engagement photos, and they are absolutely breathtaking. She was great to work with throughout the planning process as well - super communicative and took the time to chat with me before the wedding to make sure we would get all the photos we wanted and that our timeline would work. She's so sweet and honestly just wants you to be happy with your photos! I asked her to edit a few because I burnt my arm the week before our wedding, and she edited a whole folder within two days. She really goes above and beyond for her clients.

6. We're super awkward and never have our photo taken. Can you help direct us?
YES! I can fully pose you, or offer you gentle prompts for things to get the most natural reactions from you. This is why I make myself your bestie. When you're comfortable with me, it shows in your photos.
Most weddings are delivered within approximately 4-8 weeks from your wedding date, depending on the season. Wedding season turn around times are generally closer to the 8 week mark than in the off season.
I do! They mainly carry my gear, set up lighting if needed, keep an eye on our schedule, help to gather family, organize our shot lists, details, etc. Don't worry, there is no extra charge for the assistant.
I'll send you a contract to sign, and there is a $300 retainer to secure your date, with the balance due 30 days before your wedding. Once that is completed, I'll be sending some goodies to your email with timeline tips, and planning assistance!
1. How many images should we expect to receive?
This all depends on the coverage you've selected, and how well your timeline is arranged. I edit all the photos I take that day, with the exception of photo where you have your eyes closed, the flash didn't fire, or someone walks in front of the camera, for instance. All other photos, however, are included for you.
I always keep an eye on the weather leading up to our session, and check it again the morning of. Most conditions we can still shoot in, unless its a torrential downpour. If that happens, its no problem to reschedule.
A lot of brides like to schedule their photos on their hair and makeup trial day, but we can schedule then for whatever season suits you two best!
Absolutely! It can often help with tight timelines, and you'll end up with a bunch of different angles and perspectives from your day!
